"It works like a charm... Though you must use computer management after reboot to access the full HDD

ie

How to install an additional hard drive using Windows XP Disk Management

Install Secondary drive.

Boot into Windows XP.

Open Computer Management and select Disk Management.

Initialize the drive.

Partition the drive.

Format the drive.
