"WinXP SP1

ASound 10/100 Fast Ethernet (ALM)

This driver would NOT supercede the WinXP Driver ( which obviously does not work or I would not have downloaded this )

After 2 days, I have come to the conclusion that my ASound 10/100 Fast Ethernet cards are NOT compatable with WinXP < huge sigh >

"

"I searched long and hard for a driver for the ASOUND 10/100 ethernet card with Realtek chip. The built-in driver in XP, altough claiming it worked correctly, did not work at all. This driver (the Windows 2000 one, FEAND5.sys) seems to work correctly."

"Downloaded for Windows XP and it works perfectly. The driver that comes for XP does not work.

Someone above says "This driver would NOT supercede the WinXP Driver" and it is correct that XP didn't pick this driver automatically, but I had no problem when I selected the driver manually"
