"#1 You must uninstall completely all prior Driver versions. #2 You must let windows XP System find the Scanprisim 640P and install it's color_flatbedscanner_110 Drivers that it finds but does not recommend installing cause no signiture.Install it. #3 Re-boot the system , then run setup from the extracted setup file of this driver. I hope this helps someone from pulling the

"I saw the others comments and I paused the download. Im still wondering, because it's too big and there's no guarantee that this driver will help me. Do not try this at home. I thing that the driver is useless. Oh and it's expensive for me 0,10 $ for MB downloaded"

"It seems to work fine with Windows 9x and NT, but NOT recommended for XP or XP Pro. It is incomplete, but Win 9x doesnt seem to mind. It takes very long to download, but I made it quicker with Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) from shareware.com"

"I rolled back to the original driver and I can get XP to use the scanner. This newer driver won't install with XP and there is no .inf file. Even after the note to "follow the hint" at the end of setup, XP didn't like this driver at all."

"Es sólo el controlador y funciona muy bien! (con otro programa que sirva de Twain por ejemplo Ms PhotoPaint) This is only the controller, and work really good! (you need other program with twain functionality, e.g. MS PhotoPaint)"
