"I offer a solution for those of you who want to have the Win9X driver. I have the LG 600P Driver CD in a cd-image file (about 300MB). If you know a reliable place (eg. a private ftp) I can upload it there so that it's available for anyone who needs it. If you know such a place email me. Thanks."

"Indeed, I have been using this driver for quite a while, months to be exact it works well the only drawback is that it has no "default" feature for scanning text, however, the image-scan works well in this regard, only that the text is scanned as an image. Thanks though"
