"This driver also works fine for the ESS Solo SC1938 card under win XP. If you install XP with this sound card in your PC, XP will automatically assign the 1969.sys driver file.Thats a fact. Just tried it yesterday 10/3 2003"

"tried this one and the other posted here.The 40K one is just refused by XP (sound card is disabled), the 70K one works.... but not better. still got absolutely no volume"

"a friend of mine put xp on his pc the sound went from real good on his pc to real real low when the xp was installed ,i got the driver for him and sent it to him he is loading it as we type and read here. i am directing him over the private message program paltalk . i will get back and tell you more later thanks for the drivers"
