"I haven't checked the zip file yet.. but here is a tip 4 sum 1

who doesn't know how to install maually..... first go into

the c: drive, windows folder, then system 32, look for the drivers

folder.. unzip the contents of the zip file in there.. really you can put them anywhere... but this is how I usually do it.

In xp goto control panel... click performance and

"Hey!!!! If you need the software such as creative task bar or surround mix for any of the cards... Goto creative labs support

and download the update file.. instead of double clicking it

(cause you'll only get an error message saying it hasnt found previuos intstallation.. Just unzip it onto the desk top

there are 2 types of installers the web kind and the setup

"I used the driver guide scanner, and it did me NO good

at all. I expected it to take me to the EXACT page of

my driver download but it took me to a page of many

options. If I knew what I had, I wouldnt need a

scanner! In addition, the one which seemed like a

perfect match was downloaded from your site and there

was not an exe or setup file at all. What a

"argh..... Creative sells good cards but their support SUCKS!!!!! They only have updates, not standalone driver packs, liveware seems unfamiliar to them nowadays, their site is one big mess, and you have to search really good for the "contact us" button. Sorry, get a bit frustrated over here... DLed the driver, but their is no executable file in the zip archive. Tried to

"When prompted for driver location, just choose the directory where the "inf" file is located and confirm (I had to do it twice, having the Audigy Platinum EX). I suggest then to visit the Creative home page to update your drivers at it's best. However, you must install those from T4K first, or the update won't work. Thank you T4K!"
