"Do not let XP search automatically. Do a manual

install, and it will accept it. When an automatic

search is performed, it will ignore any driver

which is older than XP's original driver. This is

valid for any kind of device. Good luck!"

"Seems to be the native driver in XP SP2 - at least it wouldn't install because it was same as/older than the driver the OS used for this chip. Thanks anyway."
