"This driver doesn't work for Windows XP. But there is a solution you have to first download and install p36_dunt.exe (also available in DriverGuide.com). Then download primax_4800.exe (also available in DriverGuide.com) and rename it to scantest.exe. Install it, reboot and it's OK."

"I tried installing everything from an older driver for the primax 4800 direct, then replaced the scantest file with this one, but it still didn't work, although the results on changing the scantest file gave diffeant errors."
