"This driver does NOT work with Windows XP even though it is on the site as an XP driver. As far as I can tell, this modem is not compatible with Windows XP at all."

"Pretty much the same as everyone else, will not work under xp. lights are on and no one is home. doesnt respond to query's and does not react when i dial...better luck next time (if anyone finds a working xp driver for an AMU-AU00 can you let me know?)"

"This driver didn't work under XP for AMU-AX00 modem. The ready light comes on, but the modem cannot be queried."

"This modem ONLY supports 95, 98, Me. Acer do not support modems at all. It is a separate company called AcerNetxus. If you need a modem for XP - BUY ONE - only $40! Or better still - use DSL or cable."

"Driver never worked under XP back to the drawing board. I found this modem unless under Win2k as well the only thing it works properly on is Win98 or ME."

"I have just upgraded to windows xp and like everyone else the red light comes on but i cant connect to the internet!! this is so frustrating if someone has a working xp driver for the AMU AU00 please send it to me!"

"The drivers seem to work fine for AMU-AU00 (the ready light comes on) but can't get the modem to do anything else (even respond to a driver query). Am hassling Acer Support now for the firmware updater program (if they thought to make one so you could use the firmware update they provide?!)"
