"Files they seem to be the same as the win98 version. Tried to run setup.exe, and like with the win98 version I downloaded before nothing happens. Probably it will work fine under win98 buth under winXP it doesn´t."

"It is a zip file in German and when unzipped there does not appear to be any files in the 2 folders named Disk 1 and Disk 2."

"Works great with XP Pro...PC pretends to not recognize scanner, but after running the .exe in the "disk 1" folder in this zip, photoshop picked it right up. (PC still doesn't want to admit the scanner is there, but I could care less...flawless scans in photoshop) So, you may need to look up a couple German vocabulary words before all is said and done....get ove

"I DOESN'T WORK ON THE 12000P THE CD THAT COMES BY THE SCANNER WORKS BUT I WOULD SOME NEWER DRIVERS. THE 2000 DRIVERS WORK FINE :D"

"So far....have not been able to get the scanner to work...nothing but complete black image....Have the 12000P scanner....This device was and had been working as part of my HP Pavilion and HP 5550 printer. For some reason device just stopped working...and still would not work after re-installing original s/w. Still same symptoms after downloading this driver. Does anyon

"This driver will not work with the Plustek 12000P in Windows XP. Best bet to anyone who has a Plustek 12000P scanner, buy one that's USB that supports Windows 9x/Me/2K/XP"

"this did not work on my XP home edition compaq. I did have luck with this file 9636p-e.exe, it is a windows NT application. I got 9636p-e.exe from plustek's European website and had to wade thru some German to get it, but it works fine )"

"after reading the many comments on the driver for the plustek 12000p I am not even going to try. Reason the scanner has two parallel ports and my new printer has a usb port. So, unless i get a cord with one usb and one parallel connection I am out of business. I also have to work in a omega zip drive between the scanner and the cpu. Ha, Plustek gets a big zero for cust

"Downloaded the driver, it works with XP service pack 1..however, the color images have lines through them etc....so driver is recognized but the scanner is not working properly. Any suggestions? I use PHoto Impact 6."

"Installed the driver in my Win XP, service pack 1, system. I did not have another scanner or scanner software intalled prviously. Plustek 9636T scanner works just fine. I run it through Ulead Photoimpact 8."

"I tried this driver and I can't get the utility to recognize my scanner. I am using XP home. Someone said to turn the scanner on and reload the drivers but my scanner only turns on with software, no on/off switch. Can anyone help me? Please )"

"I downloaded this driver last night and used it to install a Plustek 9636T scanner on my system using Windows XP Pro. It worked great, and now don't have to boot to Win98 to use the scanner. Thanks Marek, for the upload! Thanks for nothing, Plustek - you couldn't get me to buy another scanner!"

"This driver didn't work on my XPpro pc with the Plustek OpticPro 12000P scanner plugged in parallel port. Even with the scanner setup utility and many changes in options (modes, irq, ports.. and bios setup) the scanner did not swithed on."
