"Didn't work at all on win XP when just running the exe file.

adding device and looking for downloaded .inf didn't work either, gave up on this after about 4 hours"

"Thank goodness, i have finally found a driver that works flawlessly after trying to get my scanner working for over a year and on the edge of scrapping it and forking out for a new one I didnt get any questions about floppies and the whole process ran flawlessly. regards o) (one very happy person)"

"In view of the comments of some users on this page, I was a little sceptical about using this driver but I am delighted with it. I extracted the files from the zip into a folder on my hard drive and ran the .exe file. All went well, I didn't see any messages regarding floppies but towards the end, when the program says the computer need to restart to complete the insta

llation, there was a message about 16 bit drivers and unstable system. I had to manually switch off the computer and switch back on. However everything seems fine, the scanner is shown as a Mustek 1200C with no problems in Device Manager and it is working better than ever. Spent over an hour on Packard Bell's site with no success and seconds on Google finding your file. Thank you."

"Downloaded driver, unzipped it, and placed the 4 files on 4 seperate disks, only to find that the installer file on disk 1 will not open in Windows XP. Anyone got any ideas as how to open this file?"

"Several people have commented about the exe file requesting a floppy. The solution is to put the four files on to floppies webxp.exe - disk 1, webxp.w02 - disk 2, webxp.w03 - disk3 and webxp.w03 - disk 4. Start running webxp.exe from disk 1, then insert the other three disks when asked. Three of the files are 1.4mb so I presume they were orignally on disks. I have receive

"Could not get this to work. I have tried downloading it several times. I unzipped it. Dale had left a note to open the EXE file, but it started the installment, then asked for a floppy disk? Any one know how to get round this or get any driver to work for the Packard Bell 61248 scanner on XP?"
