"Once I got things sorted out, the driver and the installation was good, and it's worked very well since. Initially, I had difficulties with this driver because I was not properly installing it."

"driver did not install. It hung up with a bunch of pop up boxes. None of which worked. Same results from downloading from Canon."

"this driver worked before with the windows 98 but with the 2000 upgrade (ntfs) seems my usb ports are all unsupported and the scanner is USB,oh well, still the driver works."

"The driver intalled just like the one that I downloaded from Canon but this one works with Windows XP. The old driver only worked with Win98. Many thanks.

"I tried this down loaded drive and I still can not get my scanner installed and set up. I called the company and she gave me the same thing, but I can not keep paying for their help,(which does not help) They tell me they do not make and installation CD for XP windows--which I think is rather strange. And my old one will not install...I have gotten to install several time

"Just a note to everyone. Please remeber that when you download over a modem there is a chance for a bad file trasfer. Those lucky enough to have a broadband provider will find they have much more success with downloads. Good luck! www.kcdconsulting.net"

"Don't run the application! Simply plug in (or re-plug in) your scanner, than specify the location for the driver as C \Temp\CanoScan. Done! I tried it on Win2000, no problems so far!"

"I downloaded and an error message siad file was damaged and wouldn't work to try and downlaod again. I did with same results. I have the XP operating system."
