"Installed exe, but Scanner Wizard cannot find the Scanner still. Scanner is on, plugged in, lit etc. It worked fine last time I used it about 1 yr ago, had XP then too, but "lost" the drivers for it..will d/l different drivers zip file, see if that works...dunno what else to do!"

"No installation witch is good for people like me who just install from the device manager, but bad for those who ain't all that familiar with their computer. Windows do not recognize the scanner as such, but programs that support twain aquire work just fine. I'm using windows xp with service pack 2"

"It requires many difficult steps to install. It doesn't have optical character recognition. You can copy the scanned text from this software package and paste into the old Windows 98 software which has OCR. It's not easy but the alternative is to throw your scanner away."

"At last, a driver that works!! This was the 5th or 6th driver I tried, and at last I can scan again!! A message to Primax: Think how much customer loyalty and goodwill you have lost by not updating drivers. I will NEVER be buying a Primax product again."

"I have the Tiny FU621D scanner. This driver doesn't work with all programs that can scan pictures or documents. It worked with Note Pad. But freezes up with MGI Photosuite III and Corel WordPerfect. I have tried about every driver offered here, with no luck, and have decided that its time to get a new scanner."

"Drivers work ! Install was bit tricky ! Use windows control panel then go to "scanners and cameras" then "add an imaging device" Then you can install the two files listed in the instructions that appear when you unzip the download. to make sure you have the correct files type in the fist few characters of the file name and the extensions will appear! Good Luck !"

"Does NOT work!! There is no such place in XP as "Install from a list or specific location {advanced)", also when I copy contents of CD to computer and try to activate - it says I need LTKRN80N.DLL driver, it is not in the download. Does not work and your instructions make no sense."

"The download was simple and having saved it into the programs file my computer detected it and installed it automatically. I then accessed my scanner via Corel Photo-Paint and it all worked perfectly. Many thanks for your efforts to help us all out of the hole of having a scanner that doesn't work in Windows XP Pro!!"

"Work a treat for me. Thanks Download. Execute file. Define the unpacked location of the files. eg. c \scanner\ Power cycle scanner. Wizard should popup. If not then do via Control Panel/Add HArdware. Choose advanced destination. Select c \scanner\ or wherever you put files. Ignore Driver not signed message (continue anyway). Then scanner should be available to other apps

"this site is a Godsend! So duh, it worked. Stats Win XP home edition (new PC) where I wanted to re-install scanner again. I originally tried to install with Primax's Win98 driver, but WinXP wouldn't inst/proceed any further. Then when I DL'ed this driver, and followed Step#1 in the TXT file, everything went perfectly!"

"I had managed to get a different driver working by botching a driver I downloaded. Extract the driver by part installing, then point the add-new-hardware wizard where you dumped the .INF files to... You version was a helluva lot easier though - cheers!"

"I Win 98 I used the "Imaging" Icon under Accessories to launch the TWAIN interface. Is ther anythig I can use in XP. The driver works great if I load the innterface with Paint Shop but I woud rather use something simple like the Imaging function is Win 98"

"I walked through the steps in the text file instructions to load this driver on my Win XP Pro, but it doesn't work. When I go to "Add Hardware" - "Advanced" and "browse" to select the files listed on the driver download instructions (USBSCAN.SYS and PMXUSB.CPL) , those file types are not the type I can select. Win XP Pro wants me to select *.inf files and not the .sys or .
