"For an half a year I was working a problem with my monitor who didn't come back in display mode after i had turned it off for powersave reasons. Trying different energy saving configurations didn't solve that problem. Loading this driver for my ASUS V6600 Pro seems that it solved my problem for about a week now. "Have to add a comment in regards to the higher version of this ASUS driver Driver Version 31.40. This driver does not work with G-Force 3 Cards under Windows XP SP1 such as ASUS 8200 Series at all. Be carefulm bfore you choose to install it nevertheless!!"

"Check out the Asus website in Germany I lost my link there but search for Asus.de you'll be glad you did. They ALWAYS have the most current drivers NOTE I had to use V14.62 driver to get my TV out to become avalible (not greyed out)"

"I had a ASUS V6600 32mb card in a 2004 gigabyte board with a sampron 2200

I have used this driver in a older board also with same card.

No problems it works well."

"This drive (like other even from asus) doesn't work on my V8170. It hangs the computer on start. I had to download the detonators version on the NVIDIA homepage to get to work. NVIDIA drivers are great! Go there and get them !!!!"

"Driver for XP is fine the Win2KXP_3000.exe. But the TV out is worse then I had orignaly under Windows 2000. The bottom of the screen cannot be displayed on my TV even if I moved it with the software till the highest level. Anyone any tips on how you can use your TV as monitor."

"I've installed this driver a few times on different systems with the same graphics card ( Asus v6600 ) Although it isn't the best it works fine.

The card is a 32mb card and it works fine with openGL games - Eg :- Call of Duty United Offensive with DirectX 9c installed."
