This is the Windows XP and 2000 driver
for the Addtron AWP-100 IEEE 802.11
DS 11Mbps PCMCIA Card.
A very big thanks to Klaus Richter
from alt.internet.wireless who was
kind enough to send the drivers to
to get it working, but I had to use the Addtron Utilities SW that
came with the Card to configure the Card.
I had tried other drivers in the past and none of them worked. I
thought I'd give this driver a try (on an old crappy laptop), and
to my plesant suprise it worked. Thanks for the dri
After Installing the driver and Utility, I could not get the
Utility to scan the card until I rebooted XP.
I was not able to get the Addtron Utility SW to set Power Save
mode to enabled. Other than that, the driver functions with the
Utility SW. However, without the Utility SW, I was not able to
get the Card to function on XP. That might be due to my lack of
understanding the XP wireless configuration software.
Also, after comming out of Hibernation, the Utility SW pops up
3 or 4 OK dialogs, before it finally scans the card, but in the
end, everything works.
