"Works like a charm. I had to download 7-Zip to unzip the files and from there it was easy. I used the instruction from Gateway site for installing drivers and there were no problems."

"I installed the driver and it messed up my modem settings, but was able to roll back the old driver for the modem. I hope that other people that had this problem at least knew what to do."

"the modem and the driver werent working on a consistent basis with my system and the software i wanted to use. so i uninstalled and got a different modem. unfortunately not many manufactures are making voice / data / fax / modems anymore. to bad, made great answering machines."

"This might have been the wrong driver, maybe that is why it didn't work. Now everytime I boot, my computer wants to reload the same driver!"

"I did not download this driver because I found it at Aopen manufacturer's site. It was much smaller, 1.5MB compared to 6MB."

"i think i have xp in the original driver that comes with the cd the operating system always shaut down after it counts one minute it realted to the file svchost.exe please somebody help me cause it always shut down when iconnect to the inter net"

"Worked good on Win2k, Driver installation was easy. Note, The zip file has a predefined Subdirectory before the O.S. Directories. (\FM56-SVV\)"
