"After having to reinstall Windows XP on a Dell Dimension 8300 because of a virus in the old Windows installation, this file was absolutely the ONLY thing I could use to get my Sound Blaster Audigy to work. Drivers from Creative's website weren't even working for me. But this fixed it after struggling for like 5 hours. Only downside is no software is included just the drive

"As with many microsoft drivers, the xp drivers are essentailly the same as Win 2003 server. This is for an MSI motherboard that was originally loaded with Vista and upgraded (downgraded) to Win server2k3. The driver has worked just fine."

"Seems to work quite well.In order to install driver you must go to SYSTEM-DEVICE MANAGER-AUDIO CARDS.Choose to install the driver manually from whatever location you unzipped it to. Then you're ready to rock."

"It actually works! I had already given up on this damned sound card, because none of other previous drivers worked... Until I found this! Big thx to uploade.

P.S

The driver package doesn't include any fancy installer, but you can install it from devices manager w/o any problems."
