"The driver was not Win XP compatible. I had hoped that a Hercules card would have been common enough to have XP support but was out of luck. Even the generic XP PCI VGA driver would not work."

"Hmmmm if the hercules site doesnt have the stingray drivers....then how come i found 2 drivers for a "stingray 128" card...one for single and another for dual....is this a different card or what?"

"The Stingray with the daughter-card is simply the memory-upgraded version. The daughter card is an extra (I think) 2 to 4 megs of memory, making it a 6MB or 8MB Stingray. Driver works on both kinds."
