These are the possible values:
Primary IDE (most common)
Primary port of the soundcard
Secondary port of the soundcard (less common)
And the AUTOEXEC.BAT file:
MSCDEX.EXE /D:CD /L:E
/L is the letter of the drive, for me, it's "E:" beacuse I have two partitions on the disk, "C:" with the system, and "D:" with a lot of old games ;-)"
