"Not sure how to install w/o a *.inf file? I'm in a similar situation to Treefrog's comments. However, I'm installing Backup Exec 10.x on a Windows 2000 Server, trying to recover after a failed RAID. Backup Exec will not recognize the drive in order to install its own driver. Major pain..."

"Dowloaded this file as well as drvmcdb.sys to make up driver file to get STT0000A working with later version of Backup Exec. This drive was designed to work with Symantec Backup Exec 8.x, and wanted to get it working with v10.x. Have since discovered that problem was because WinXP already has driver for this drive that doesn't work properly - confirmed in a MS bulletin,
