"Works EXACTLY as described. You MUST reprogram the adapter as the default is NOT twisted pair (RJ-45 normal ethernet plug these days).Keep trying IRQ and maybe even the I/O address, on both the adapter (atlcs.exe in dos) and from the Device Manager.It took quite a few trys and some prayer, but suddenly- it worked!"

"Works fine, after the following under Windows 95 OSR2 ("95B"):

1) Allow Windows to detect the card as NE2000 Compatible in Add New Hardware. Ignore the errors as you restart into Windows.

2) Get System Properties and write down the IRQ for the NE2000 Compatible.

3) In the tool mentioned (DP83905/CONFIG/ATLCS.EXE), configure the card for whatever interfa

"YES! finally these 5 network cards of mine work!!! I have put these into computers before and they never worked. Now my network has 5 more computers on it... Just cuase their 10mbps doesn't meen their not good for playing games, and internet sharing. THANK YOU A LOT. GRACIAS! Trabajan muy bien!!"

"I get ethernet card based on dp83905 in OEM package. I can`t set this card properly on my system. All test say`d Not detected. I`m get this archive and try ATLCS.exe. I`m "Configure card in disabled mode" and... Congratulations!!! Card working at now! Thank you vary much!"

"After Win95 installed drivers and picked the I/O and IRQ for the card ran atlcs.exe to set the card to those values and it worked perfect after power down."

"I had to set in the config program port 340, irq 10, so Win95 regognizes as port 340, irq 5. Only way to work. Any new setup program?"

"using both the oemsetup.inf and the ATLCS.EXE i was able to get it going in a win95 peer-to-peer network, however getting them to agree on the address range and IRQ was a little tricky."
