EXCELLENT find for the "Agere Systems AC'97 Modem" which I extracted from the HP site.

It is way better than any other driver I found on ANY site, and about 2 years newer.

v.92 capable with modem on hold and it adds a nice little icon in the task tray.

Beat that Batman.

Enjoy from the scorched earth of Katrina and Rita...

"Installed this Driver on 2 different PCs. 1st PC was using Win XP, and 2nd PC is using Win 2000 Pro. BOTH work EXCELLENT with this driver. A VERY Versatile driver. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for BOTH Win 2000 Pro & Win XP."

"The updates worked very well with my IBM ThinkPad OeM T30 Agere AC'97 Softmodem. First, it updated to a V.92, then it installed the driver

for Windows Xp Pro. Yay! My old T30 lives another year!"

"If you have one of these modems then with XP it is great but I could only get 33kbs out of it on a vista system even the updated version for vista still only gave 33Kbs but XP is excellent."
