"Driver works on the Asus P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard.

enter the driver update in control panel

start update by searching the extracted download

it finds the promise fastrack driver (it looks like loading a windows 2000 driver but if you read carefully it talks about the type of controller)

after a reboot it works as expected.

"I cloned my C: drive to a larger HDD, and for some reason, with the original 1.0.0.11 driver from the Mobo Instl Disk, Win XP wouldn't recognize my RAID drives, even after re-installing the Promise drivers. I installed this driver and everything came back. Whew! Thanks, you really saved my bacon."

"This software seems to extract and , windows finds the software for the controller and installs it but still there is the yellow mark in system device manager. I have uninstalled and re-installed driver several times still no luck for the raid to work correctly"

"The NT driver is the one works with Vista without a problem (so far!) The documentation doesn't tell you that when you unpack the download files."
