"in XP sp2 works excellent as long as you use the Cisco Utility to configure the device, NOT a 3rd party (Windows) to do so. Used in the PCI card version of the device."

"Installed on a old celeron laptop running 2000 pro and is working better with our 2wire (uverse) router than the pcmcia adapter that they gave us (also 2wire). Didn't detect what sort of encryption the AP had, but was very easy to do and connected instantly.

peace"

"Your not wrong when you say these drivers are difficult to obtain. Been looking for them for about 8months. Thanks for whoever posted them here. Installed the cardbus, driver only and presto, wlan access."

"The device is installed in Windows 2003 (x86), but refuses to start (error code 10). It also is an old driver from 2005 and there is a much newer available (26-10-2007) at cisco.com, but the support for this device is officially Windows 2000 and Windows XP only. Since this driver at driverguide claims to function with Windows 2003 a signed up and downloaded it. But a no go

"This is a hard driver to get. Cisco requires you be a vendor, reseller, or have your receipt in hand, then register, fill out a survey or two and MAYBE they'll give you a driver. I don't know bcoz I'm not wasting time on Cisco B.S. I just jump to DriverGuide and got it. Thanks! I really appreciate DriverGuide and the person who uploaded the driver."

"It turned out that the driver wasn't my problem. The problem turned out to be a bios problem that is still unfixed. I can connect the computer wired, dialup, pci card [after updating to the latest bios version] Ihe linksys usb wireless adapter will connect to the internet with the driver, but i cannot restart, shutdown or put the computer in hibernation"

"If you have Cisco kit, it was either given to you or your realy rich.

These drivers are like rocking horse 5h1t! Only advice tho, if you are a newby, only install driver as the client software can be hard to get to grips with. Mind you, XP's wifi setup is not exactly, erm whats the word... FINISHED!"
