"downloaded the drivers, installed the wpc54 but did not see a change. the other drivers I,m not sure they are for win ME. I am reluctant to use them.

Has to be placed in a linksys directory - opened up and pointed to it

Fairly easy install

This is for card version 2 - look for the v2 on the back

There is more than one version of the card ( different streams along the way or new factory / suppliers)

If you do not have the correct driver it will not work

"Driver sucks is NOT correct: Got the correct card here, WPC54G ver.2, but cards PCI-id(104C/9066/00321637) isn't even listed in the .inf files so this one will NEVER work or even install the driver.

THIS DRIVER IS *ABSOLUTLY NOT* for the WPC54G v2.0 cards.

"For Linksys WPC54G version 2.0 PCMCIA Wireless G-Adapter. Works perfectly on Windows XP.

Linksys no longer provides this driver. Requires entire setup program, and this is it. Works perfectly.

I tried other versions of the WPC54G and it did not work. You must use this one if you have a version 2.0 PCMCIA card.

One tip.

Remote the PCMCIA card. Optional -
