"I try this Driver on my MSWinXPSP3 RTM, simply run the "Setup.exe"...

After PC reboot, the installation process will still ask 3 times a further of this Driver file locations - 1st location will be "Windows\System32" folder, and for second two, location will be exactly the same from where you execute the, already upper mentioned "Setup.exe"

"My computor is older than most The sound is provided by a fortemedia chip and When I reinstall my XP Pro I lose the sound. This Driver worked best out of most I've tried"

"Have downloaded these drivers on prior occasion. Works well with my soundcard/system except if during system update I move slot for card. I can not make the sound card work without re-installing drivers. This could just be me."

"Only seems to work... IRQ_LESS_OR_EQUAL - something like that apperas, windows does its minidump, etc. Errors with Diablo II, and even winamp(2 & 3) on some songs. Anyone has REALY working ones? I tried every one I could find. FM801 PCI Audio (WDM)"
