"I got blue screened with an advisory that my cmuda.dll had caused a dump. I restarted and deleted this dll and then went hunting for the replacement which this site sent me to. I installed it after some trepidation and still had no sound. My grandson (a Geek agent) had me make a switch in the sound utility and I have had excellent sound since. The dll seems fine so far.&qu

"Drivers were good but for some reason they did not work with my system. It's possible that Microsoft has changed something in the audio files that will not let the earlier drivers work with XP Service Pack 2 and 3. Being this is an older motherboard the U8668-D ver. 7.7 I probably won’t find something that works."

"have to say its the best of the c-media packages I've tried, it worked a dream, I'd recommend it for on board ac'97 sound, especially my K7S5A pro mobo, realtek always caused problems, and even some other c-medias, this one I like....and i Tried the result out on youtube music videos...no problems at all....."
