"the driver basically works with win xp, coz i'm using just that rite now, but it doesn't allow all the features of the modem (eg fax) to work correctly. for plain connecting to the net, its decent enough... though a proper win xp driver would be appreciated greatly. as some have already said, this might be a 2k driver afterall. peace."

"I have tried this driver. It works fine for the Data and Voice functions. But when you try to use XP's Fax Console to send faxes it gives a fatal error message. XP's Fax works with Mulitech modem alos on my PC. The D-Link modem however works with the bundled Supervoice to send faxes. When I checked the configuration of the Supervoice there was a special init string. I trie

"I got a driver cd free with my d-link DFM 560es modem. It has the driver for all windows except xp.Since i had xp and i urgently needed to use the net, i installed the win 2000 driver. It works but with alot of errors. Can anyone plez suggest a good site where i can download the XP driver ?? thanks"

"NO one has answered if this driver is the same as that for Windows 2000 as the inf file is SCMsvs2K.inf which is provided with the modem. IT may work but may not be the actual driver for WinXP."

"DFM-560ES does not work well in WinXP. Modem goes off-hook, but does not dial out. Added initialization string "atx1" - seemed to fix things, but modem is ultra-slow. Any help would be appreciated."

"This driver is for Win 2000. Is it the same driver for Win XP ? The same driver was also given on the CD that accompanied the DLINK DFM 560ES Modem. It does not work too well in Win XP"
