"i used xp sp2. the problem is the following: xp boots in a 640x480 4bit mode after installing it on a hard drive. trying to install the right driver, it refuses the 98se and nt drivers. only win2000 drivers are accepted, it dedicates two (!) devices (artx device and artx display device) without problems.

after restarting nothing changes - its still in the 4bit mode. bu

"These drivers do work for Win9x and WinMe. I had been trying to identify what integrated graphics chip I had. As the chip has a heat sink you cannot visibly identify manufacturer. The BIOS is unhelpful with PCI VGA. Also, with no visible identity on motherboard its left to cycling the power button to read the motherboard id on bottom left of screen that appears for 0.1
