"I installed this driver based on the intel chipset and it installed and tested fine. As with most modem drivers... it may not be perfect put it works !"

"this works perfect with ME but xp is tricky... i usually get it 'by accident' and trial and error.

This was one of the better ones for xp"

"Many of the drivers listed for the Encore modems are incorrect and do not work. Encore modems are not the prefered modem communication device for our organization since the QA is very poor."

"for WIN 98 SE and others, use HAM-drivers.exe for intel/ambient

chipset. the HAM-drivers.exe inf install worked great for

ENF656-PCIG-INPR PCI 56k modem"
