"After testing it, i decide not to install this driver while i re-install my windows. Except the multimedia key. it still can working like a normal keyboard."

"A grade school teacher friend bought a new computer a few years back, but the OEM retailer never gave him proper drivers to make it work properly.

This driver made the HP USB multi-media keyboard work with all of its extra features. The school teacher was really happy with it.

Because of this he got really intersted in making his own videos.

"The mute botton just doesn't work. Same goes for the standby button and the play button. Tried and retried installing but still sucked. The volume knob increases/decreases the volume within limits - lowest is that which you've adjusted in your multimedia player and the highest is that which you've set on the desktop volume slider."

"It definetly does not work at all times with XP Pro. Look up the other file and give it a try - search for hp2506gn.zip. It looks more promising, but I will fill out the report on that one once I try it."

"After I installed it works fine but after a while I have to unplug and replug the keyboard connector since it stops working !!!"

"Installed this driver on HP Pavilion with XP Pro. Keyboard stops working in middle of tasks, need to restart PC and fumble around the control panel to get to work again. Plan on removing driver and living with basic keyboard."

"The keyboard does not startup correctly on startup. The only way I have found to remedy this problem is to restart the computer. I have tried creating a keyboard shortcut to the kbd.exe but it doesn't help startup the keyboard if the keyboard doesn't work. Also, tried double clicking and it doesn't startup. Apparently the only way to get the keyboard working is to restart

"I have a Pavilion 8220 (8200 series) with a One Touch Multimedia Keyboard, model SK-2505. When I upgraded to Windows XP the additional buttons stopped working. This driver does not allow full functionality but allows the volume knob, mute and Internet buttons to function. None of the other additional buttons appear to function."

"How do you uninstall this keyboard? I have a dell computer and just got a keyboard from dell for it and I cannot get the Hp drivers to go away....Help!!!"

"This is the driver package you need if you are upgrading an older HP Pavilion to XP. It is identical to the driver upgrade package supplied by the HP.com site. I would recommend going to the HP.com site to read more about upgrading this computer to XP."

"Just upgraded my HP 6646c to XP Home edition. This driver works perfectly for the volume, internet, search, help and mute keys on the OEM Keyboard that came with the PC. Thank you!"
