"File was downloaded then it unzipped itself and installed. Windows updater updated the driver and I have had no problems."

"I have tried a few times to install it for my old Acerscan 320U as quoted in the summary section. However, it always shows that it is for 340U/640U instead of 320U. Upto now, my old scanner still cannot work properly although the installation process is execellently simple and easy"

"this driver works with mirascan prisa 620st-win 2000. I try almost all drivers, and i know that some other driver may work also, becouse previously i used on win 2000.But do not remember which one.good luck"

"I downloaded this driver for my system win xp pro. Not only did it not work, I sat there for two hours and it did nothing but crash my computer. So I am currently on my other computer while I rebuild my buiseness pc. I'm not a happy camper at this time. The program just cost me $387.00. In the future we need drivers we will try buying brand new. Thank you."

"While the scanner did not work, my brand new XP system worked fine...until I installed this driver. Now my computer reboots itself without warning. Wish I had just bought a new scanner instead of trying to use the Acer and installing a driver from some unkown source. It would have been cheaper than spending $ to have the system fixed by the local computer shop."

"This is the third driver I have downloaded for the 320u, and none of them have worked (I am running xp). The installation goes ok, but on reboot, windows found new hardware wizard kicks in, but doesn't like any of the driver files - it wants a file with a .inf extension. Very fustrating."
