I had big problems with using my scanner together with my "epson stylus colour 600" printer when connecting printer through the scanner. Anyway after much heartburn, my solution was to connect printer direct to computer, and the scanner directly through an interface card called "Enhanced ScanPort". Installation of this card and its software enabled scanner and printer to operate without fault. I have used this arrangement ever since but I now use windows ME - this still works OK. My problem now is that I recently aquired a second computer and want to connect them together for sharing purposes. I am running windows ME on both computers and managed to use Home Networking Wizard for installing the connection. On both computers I can now share files, Internet, and printer ("epson stylus colour 600") but I don't know if I am able to share the scanner. With my limited knowledge, I have tried to install in same manner as I did with the printer but I cannot get the slave computer to access the scanner. It was for this reason I tried looking on the internet for help on more recent drivers - I thought this is what I needed. I installed your driver but still I cannot access the scanner from the second computer. The host computer is fine. The second computer responds with error message - can't find scanner. I installed the scanner s/w and scanport s/w on both computers. I don't know what else to do. CAN YOU HELP? Thank for your time - Tasi"
