"The driver works fine on my Compaq Presario 1720US; all the functions of the touchpad are now available for configuration and use (tapping, scrolling, button action, etc.) The real reason I downloaded the driver, however, was to prevent the cursor from jumping (by "Palm Check" configuration) as my hand brushed the touchpad when I typed e-mails. "Even though the readme file says it is for win 2000, it helped me a lot ( I'm using xp pro )

The problem BEFORE INSTALLING this driver, was that the touchpad of my HP OmniBook XE3 did not work properly. The scrolla keys of the touchpod did not work, but this DRIVER FIXED THE PROBLEM ! :)"

"This was my only choice for XP driver for my touchpad since Ashton Digital is no longer available. Except for a minor quirk driver is working fine. I can't seem to get driver to recognize an attached usb mouse."
