"No es plug and play por tanto hay que asegurarse en Bios de generar recursos ISA, el IRQ 7 normalmente está asociado con el puerto paralelo. Logré hacerlo funcionar pero el audio en reproducción emite sonido scrath, quise cambiar los settings pero realmente es un lío"

"Upgraded PII/300 from Win95 to WinXP and lost sound.

Installed this driver and got my sound back, but feels a little on the quiet side."

"Wendy's comments are helpful - but what do I do if, following

"up comes a screen with Mfg unknown, unsupported device" and there is no option to select Ensonic Soundscape on the right? and in addition there is no Ensoniq in the manufacturer's list and

yet the HW installer app. knows its a SoundScape VIVO?

PS is there any difference between VIVO and VIVO

"To clear up the installation for dumbies like me, here's what worked for me to get XP to install the new driver The Soundscape Card already showed up on my Device Manager after I upgraded to XP - but as inop. I followed the other peoples instructions to move the downloaded deiver folder to c \windows\system32\drivers, then I clicked on the "update driver" for the inop En

"Works like a champ. As many others have commented it requires a manual install. Saw a screen never I have seen before, notifing that no IRQ was available, but when I changed the IRQ life was good. Thanks!!"

"Thanks a lot Mike, works fine with XP on Gateway P180 PRO. BUT you must be conversant with manual installation, do not allow XP to any auto installation, XP will complain bitterly. Had to reset MIDI from IRQ10 to IRQ7, turn off and on again for settings to take effect."

"Oh Yah,it works in my XP! Wow, fussy is an understatement this took a few hours to figure out, I'm no computer guru. I just kept trying differnt variations of Dave and Tofutti instructions and finally got it to work. Had to try various IRQ settings, then Windows gave a warning and did a back up current settings before doing the installation, now it works great! Thanks for

"Installed to windows XP Pro and Windows 2000 on dual boot machine - just unzip to folder and stick folder into windows/system32/drivers and then just add new hardware, specify have disk and locate .inf file in the foler with unzipped files. Check free irq's by opening up device manager and view resources by type and find an irq free - try 2, 5 or 9 for standard config ma

"I dunno what the problem has been but I just installed this driver on WinXP Pro with no issues at all except having to find the proper IRQ for the card to work. I pointed XP to the .INF file that was extracted when I ran the ssv_wnt.exe file and there it was, installed and working. During the file copy process, XP popped up the config panel for the card and i had to play w
