"Extracted to a folder of choice and then ran setup from that folder.

It was extremely easy to install and works well.

This was for a SoundPro HT8738AM/PCI-SX Motherboard chipset.

Once again DriverGuide and it's excellent members came through for me."

"Excellent Driver for the SoundPro HT8738AM-PCI on board sound chipset. Easy to install self extracting executable. All you have to do is download to a folder on your computer and then locate it and click the "setup.exe" file. This will install the C-Media audio drivers. Definitely an A++++++ driver. Any feedback concerning my comment on this driver, help with any

I found it via Google, looking for the drivers for the SoundPro HT8738AM chip. I recomend it 110%. Download it, execute it (it extracts several files) and install it."

"It works for Win2000 too. I took a chance and installed this driver on a Win2000 machine. It seemed to stop during setup (while initialising the Audio Driver). I exited, and it asked to reboot. I did, and the audio driver is working fine now. Thanks - this is great."

"Downloaded to Desktop, unzipped to a separate folder, and ran the setup program. Worked like a dream. Thank you - you just made life a lot easier, since I am using this on a test machine, and it wasn't worth buying a separate sound card.
