"Driver installed in a laptop Asus A1000 A1B.

Before it was identified as HSP56 MR.

But after this driver it appears as Pentagram Omen2 SM56 Speakerphone Modem"

"I tried 10 drivers for my modem Motorola SM 56 HPI56m in my Dell Dimension 8100 (modem not supplied by Dell). This driver almost managed the job, except that it couldn't find the *.chm-files (domestic.chm and languages.chm). I copied thosefrom other Motorola drivers to my drivers directory and found my modem working after two days looking and trying."

"I downloaded the file and when I try and open it, it keeps telling me " Can't open file" if posible can you mail it to me or just check if the download file "56I_WinXP.zip" isn't corrupt. thanks"

"I had this same modem problem about 2 months ago when i restalled win Me and had to find the modem drivers for the same modem DFM-560is+ and now had to do the same when i upgraded to XP pro and had the same modem problem after trying some other one,s that were corrupt and did not even work this one will as take my word Cheers thanx Greg"

"Well thank you XP pro works fine with this modem it seems some people do Know how to under stand computers and devices this person has taken a lot of time to help pc user fix this modem problem it works with a D-link modem DFM-560is+ Internal running a motorola chip thank you heaps greatly appreciate cheers Greg"
