because it had [AMIfl815.exe] inside the RaR file

Read on a FAQ that i needed this [AMIflash]

"I am trying to update the BIOS of a M748LMRT Rev. 1.3c. I do not know what are the differences between the various versions or M748LMRT mobos regarding BIOS update. There is no mention to the revision or version of the mobo to which this BIOS update can be used. My question, then, is if this update is applicable to the M748LMRT Rev. 1.3c . Thanks for the attention ..."

"I used only the flash loader AMIfl815.exe from this zip file. Reason I did not use the BIOS update from this is that it is for the M748LMRT motherboard, not the M748MR which I was trying to update. For the M748MR motherboard, the BIOS update 9990702s.rom in the file 7489702.zip worked for me and updated my BIOS."

"Eu ainda não consegui instalar os driver corretamente, assim que conseguir certamente darei uma opinião melhor..

I still didn't get to install the driver correctly, as soon as gets certainly will give a better opinion.."

"Haven't actually tried this BIOS update yet, as I haven't needed too (and hopefully NEVER will!). But was glad to have found it, and hopefully it works when I need it. Support for PC Chips boards is certainly a rarity, and I actually have the manual for M748LMRT-H (Rev. 3.3) (slot 1 and PGA 370 combined board), so if anybody needs it, shoot me a line..."

as error message was ( file corrutped ) other sites no problems

"I had 3 old PII's. The riser modem didnt work, and sound wouldnt work even with the right drivers. I used this to flash the BIOS and bang...reloaded OS and the drivers and suddenly everyhtin works fine, including options I didnt even know were there."

"My M48LMRT has Version 1.2 of BIOS and it allows it to support up to PentiumIII 800MHZ I wonder if with this BIOS update it will able to support up to 1.4GHZ which is the most powerful P3 which works on 100MHZ bus Please answer here or to my email jorbes@netscape.net"

"La Board M748LMRT en el manual soporta hasta PentiumIII 550MHZ, Sin embargo con la versión BIOS 1.2 soporta hasta PentiumIII 800MHZ. Me pregunto si con esta BIOS se habilita el soporte de Pentium III de 1.4GHZ ó almenos algo superior a 800MHZ. Por favor contestarme a mi email ó en el forum Gracias"

"I see that someone got a 60GIG HDD to be recognized, I am stalling out at 30...it just sits at autodetect...I see someone else had that same issue..any suggestions?"

"If you got ERROR 2 FILE NOT FOUND Then just clear CMOS by removing the batery. I actually removed the battery, powered the computer up, changed the boot order to Floppy, then updated the BIOS following the steps outlined in the instructions, then powered the computer down, and put the battery back."

"this is the first time i have been able to download and install a driver without any problems. Pcchips.com had nothing on this motherboard anymore (because it has been discontinued. Your directions were right on target. God Bless you. now if i can only get the hard drive installed i will be a happy camper. thanks again Francois."

"WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! this bailed me out of a nice mess, old bios would only see 32 gig hard drive and now it goes all the way to 60. As for the other posts about this driver, if they bothered to read the readme you have to add the bios file after the executable, if you don't you will get error 2 or error 5."
