"This driver works well with my PCTel HSP56 MR (AMR). It did not fix the problem I am having with AOL's server whereby it gives me ports that run at 26400 (at best 28800). But then, neither do any of the other drivers I tried. Anybody out there have a fix? (yes, I know the modem sucks, it's internal and came with the PC)."

"During the installation It installed the wrong parameters. After installation even after removing the driver and the related programs there are some changes in the registry or else ware that jam the computer. Go back (restore setting to early date) does not get rid of the problem (I t trashed two computers using PCTEL AMR HSP56MR with different mother boards and different
