"My compaq Presario 6145 pc came with WinME, I switched to XP... audigy 5.1 wouldn't work. I installed the creative drivers from the CD provided by compaq, and it still wouldn't work... the interface was there, but no sound. Then I downloaded this SP and it gave me options to update, I did, and the soundcard finally produced sound."
