"This driver works fine for me and I too am using Win XP. For those still having problems, after running the driver setup within the zip file be sure to run the add hardware wizard in control panel. It won't work if you don't add the hardware after installing the driver."

"THIS DRIVER WORKED GREAT WITH MY FREECOM II PHILIPS MODEL PCRW464K47; BUT I USING A DIFFERENT DRIVE INSIDE THE CASE, AN HP dvd300i COMBDRIVE WRITER. I COULDN'T GET THE DRIVER FROM THE PHILIPS WEB SITE EITHER, SO THIS REALLY SAVED THE DAY!!!"

"CDRW400 seems more up to date for my Philips USB CDRW Model 464 (on front it says CDRW400) but this one installed okay in Windows 2000."

"worked fine for me on XP, just unzip first, connect the external CDRW, when add hardware window comes up direct it to the unzipped file, It worked for me, Thank you very much"
