"works perfect but only in combination with software packed with scanner such as scanoffix. Just need to instaal this software but use windows software for scanning."

"This worked fine for me on XP but did take some patience to remember on the scanner worked and I had to use a little round about way to actually start the scanner."

"This application is incompatible with Windows NT.

Please run this installation under Windows 3.1 or Windows 95.""

"Installation in XP is no problem, but there is no scanner detection after a reboot. I set the LPT port to EPP, but no difference.

What does work: I use VMWare (Virtual Machine) under XP and installed W98SE as a client OS. The old Scantak W98 driver does work there and I scan within the Virtual W98SE and copy the files over a bridged internal network to my XP system.

"Hi, I downloaded the file and installed the driver. So far so good, but how do i select my scanner. It (scantak 12p) isn't in the list? My OS is XP."
