"Did'nt work on my XP-sp2

It installed well with no errors -- but to use the scanner i installed primaPage98 and twain from the original cd --

:-( didnt work --

how do i start USING the scanner with only this l36_ennt.exe installed?????

is there any other way? I always used PrimaPage98 to actually use the scanner---"

"It's not the xp driver. An xp driver doesn't exist yet for this scanner, since they discontinued support for it. But it does work satisfactorily. I use it daily without problems."

"Only the help and the readme-file were installed on my computer, not the driver I need to make my scanner (Primax Colorado 1200p) work with Windows XP Home Edition. I don't what I did wrong."

"When trying to intsall WinDriver on my PC I got the following error:

16-bit MS-DOS Subsystem path to the program that you are trying to start or install C:\Winnt\System32\autoexec.nt

The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.

Choose 'Close' to terminate the application."

"I don´t know what I´m doing wrong, but I´m not able to make it work ( I´ve already installed the driver above (136_ennt.exe), but I don´t know which ini file do I have to replace. I´ve also installed the Primax Power Twain for Win98 from the original CD and renamed the file extension to dsx, but I can´t find any Pmpt.exe. Can anybody help me, please?"

"ok!! just install l36_ennt.exe or I36_98.exe, then replace the hardware.ini with the new one and finnaly install Primax Power Twain(for W98) from the original primax CD(d \setupdir\setup.exe). At C \windows\twain32,rename xxxxx.ds to xxxxx.dsx. Reboot and scan with Pmpt.exe"
