"On install, the install quit in the middle with a windows error message, and then offered options to send error message, debug, and so on. I ried it twice, once with the debug which did nothing."

"This driver works great as far as getting the scanner operating. However the scan utilities are a bit cryptic. Although I interpreted it as being twain compliant, I could not get the Presto software I had used before to recognize the scanner. Kodak Imaging included with Win98 accepted the driver, but KI has limited editing capabilities. In short, good for basic scan, copy,

"1/31/2004 I am running Windows XP Professional and before I installed this driver I tried everything I know to get my One Touch 8100 flatbed Scanner to work and was very dissatisfied with the results, but, after downloading this driver, all is well and sanning has never given me any (and I underline ANY) problems. "Is this driver also for the 8100 Parallel Scanner! If not I do not see one for it. Of course, I didn't find one on the Visioneer Site either! Yeah, I know upgrade my scanner, 'eh!"

"thanks Catherine Reed the drivers did work, as far as the others go, i guess they didnt read the dialog box well, on the save file as, u have too pick the folder u want too drop the file in. or if u click on open it does save the file too a temp dir, before it opens too install. P"

"Driver wouldn't install. Error message states "File size expected = 5830118, size returned = 114945. 'Save as Target' not available with right click, so I left clicked and saved and opened file. Wouldn't work either way. Rich"
