"Installing mmk_xp.exe driver for P/N 5184-4708 Keyboard on Pavilion 734n locked out video, mouse, & all types of keyboards. Reboot got mouse only. Uninstalling KBD from "Add Remove programs" fails. Used CMD terminal to "PS2.exe uninstall" from KBD directory to remove further registry entries, but further Regedits erased all keyboards from device man

"After what seemed a flawless installation, my computer (Hp9694C) locked up. OS is XP update of 98SE. Nothing worked, shut down to restart didn't work. Couldn't access start menu, etc. Had desktop but nothing worked. Thank the computer Gods for go-back. Can't recommend."

"Tried this driver for my SK-2506 keyboard on my HP 8655C. Installation went no trouble, then rebooted. Not only did this not work but also I could not enter anything from keyboard. I re-installed previous driver."

"AVOID this if you value your time and your system. It seized my cpu and wouldn't let go despite two (turn the power off and then back on type) reboots. I finally got task manager to get enough of a slice of cpu time to stop it. Needless to say, I erased it from my system as quickly as I could!"

"Avoid this like the plague! After it took almost an hour to install (on a 2.1 GHz machine), it wouldn't release it's death grip on the cpu despite turning the computer off twice. Finally (after about a half hour in multiple pieces), the task manager got enough of a slice of the cpu to stop the process and then I was able to deinstall it. I"

"Windows XP supports the Mute button and Volume control in my case. after the driver installs using the mute button causes an error that unloads the driver, I edited cfg.ini in c:\hp\kbd folder, section [ButtonType], line: 10 = "1" to read 10="0" which disables the mute button for the driver and allows XP to control it. it's now good and stable."

"Purchased a clone PC very good price. Extra $20 got a HP Multimedia keyboard, no driver. Using a free 17" monitor. Downloaded mmk_xp.exe and it works fine in my XP platform. Thanks Nate."
