Original Manufacturer ESS Modem was made for Newcomm now out of business.
ESS does NOT have this driver on it's web site neither does Microsoft. Microsoft does state that this modem is compatible with 95/88 and NT.

WIN NT Ver. 4.00.1381.0001
This modem has been identified as a winmodem which means that it cannot be used with Linux. (so this has been said) However I thought Winmodems are not designed to work with NT. Since Microsoft says this modem will work on NT, maybe there's hope for this modem with Linux? I do not have the drivers for WindowsNT or Windows2000 and I am looking for them.
