"This driver is version 4.10.01.5117, dated 9/15/98 for Windows 95. There are more recent drivers available. The most recent I've seen is 4.11.01.5207. Search MagicMedia 256AV."

The latter OS installed a standard driver which looked horrible on the display. The Dell website told me to use D2160A06.exe which wshoudl match Windows 98 on this laptop but they were wrong. it kept giving me an error and reverting ba

"I used this driver on my Sony F270. It worked! I looked for this driver for 3 days. I looked on Sony's website and they say they don't keep older models' drivers...sorry! Some jerks! They only provide what they say is the latest version, and that garbage doesn't install at all. Anyway, thanks to this driver my labtop works."

"I downloaded this driver to my Sony Vaio f540 which has a neomagic 256AV card adn ti has completely garbled my display so that I can no longer get in to Windows to re-load the old one. How do I get out of this???? Plus the driver is posted as Windows 98 but an install message says it is for Windows 95! Help please."

"I use it on a Quantex (first problem) noteboox with Windows 98. It loads the driver on Interrupt 11. I also use a Xircom 10/100 +56 lan/modem card, that also uses interrupt 11. Even though Windows reports no conflicts, I know it causes problems. Wish it could be switched to a different interrupt."
