"I went through the trouble of downloading and installing this driver, assuming it would fix the problem at hand with my computer. Turns out that even though the driver did work better than the one I had prior, the fault was with the actual graphics card and not the driver. However, if you are experiencing driver related issues, this should help you a bit."

How to Update nForce4 Series AMD Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

  • In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
