"I had to use windows 98SE to install driver to align printer. but I used printer on a windows 2000 pro system afterwards on which I also installed driver. Still works fine."

"This driver works fine with win 9x. I presume that it would work with win ME. It probably does not work with Win2k or Win XP. Try HP.com for those drivers."

"I had been trying to get the printer to work for my grandparents after reformating their system...and nothing was working. This driver enabled me to set it up on my laptop...and they are happy. Thank you very much."

"Rebuilding a Gateway Computer P3-450, with 320 MB PC100 SDRAM. Gateway has installed GoBack on the computer. GoBack is disabled by me. Others have installed and uninstalled software and hardware several times. Issues remain with the original drive and the computer, that complicate a fair trial of the driver.

Mfr CD, original, is for up to Win 3.x, 95 - 16 bit, and NT4.

"I liked the installer; it was just the excact copy of the original CD. I like it especially, because you can't get this disc any more from the HP-website, because of lack of support from Microsoft to Windows 98."

"Had windows 98 and changed over to Windows Home XP, and printer would not work. Have HP computer and also Printer. Many drivers from HP computers with Windows 98 original software, don't function with XP. Driver Guide has given me the software I need to make it work. Thanks Driver Guide."

"i have downloaded this driver from this same stacey link before....it seems to disaper (even though the file is locatable)so i am trying again...it may be me...it may be some bug thing.the printer works fine for a while...and then nothing."
