Additional Notes

This driver is for the Maxtor ATA/100 controller card. This is off of the floppy disk I have and it will fit on any 1.44 MB floppy disk. If the floppy drive is not available, it can be burned on to a blank CD. For Windows XP, make sure the drivers is inserted into the drive and Windows XP will automatically search it and install it. For other windows version, the drivers must be installed from the Control Panel under Add New Hardware. Works with all versions of Windows except Windows Vista. This driver may not work with Windows Vista. Once installed, in the Device Manager, it will read out as "Promise Technology Inc. Ultra IDE Controller." Good luck.
